Established by a gift from Ed Satell, parent of a 2009 graduate, this highly selective two-year program prepares students to launch into their lives beyond college by:
Providing opportunities to meet and hear speakers of influence reflect about their post-graduate years and career paths;
Offering professional development opportunities and workshops to help them thrive and succeed after graduation; and,
Helping them identify, initiate and develop relevant professional connections.
There are two components to this program: a speaker series and peer-group workshops. In recent years, speakers have included Eric Noll ’83, P’09, Trustee and Executive Vice-President of Transaction Services of NASDAQ OMX; Paula T. Dow Esq. ‘77, Superior Court Judge for the State of New Jersey; Dennis Wint, PhD P’16, President and CEO of The Franklin Institute, and Michael Dee ‘85, CEO of the Miami Dolphins. The speaker series is complemented by workshops where students learn about, among other things, social media branding, networking, time management strategies, money management, and communication.
Qualified applicants for this program excel in motivation, work ethic, extra-curricular experience and/or academic achievement.
Attendance accommodations are made for students who study abroad and/or are involved in varsity athletics.
Students can apply to the program the summer before their junior year.
