Sustainability Committee

Ware Sustainability Committee's goal is simple: to help Ware College House become more environmentally friendly and to promote sustainable living both inside and outside of Ware. Some of our initiatives include bringing environmental speakers to Ware, campaigning for recycling and unplugging electronics, and creating an herb garden for Warians to grow and use. Our primary focus is on educating the members of Ware, as we believe education is the first step to a more sustainable lifestyle. Our 'Green Theme' months allow us to focus on educating the community about different environmental issues every month. This semester's Green Themes are:
October - Unplugging Electronics
November - Turn Off The Lights
December/January - Water Conservation

The Ware Sustainability Committee meets on Monday nights at 8pm in the Ware Fireplace room. Please email Ian Irlander (ian.irlander@fandm.edu) or Megan O'Donnell (megan.odonnell@fandm.edu) if you have any questions or would like to participate.
