  • Prime Minister, Junior Class Representative
I am currently a Junior Sociology major with a History minor. Throughout my years of involvement in Ware Parliament, I have served as a class representative and the Social Chair, all which culminated in my election in December 2011 as the Prime Minister. Outside of Ware, I currently serve as the Vice President of the Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity and also sit on the Honorary Degree Search Committee. I like to spend my free time volunteering in the community and writing my own music, which helps explain why my favorite WARE event is Ware:Unplugged (our coffeehouse-style open mic night). I am extremely excited to continue to serve the House and see how our Parliament continues to innovate to be an exemplary House Government.

I plan on majoring in Government and eventually advocating for the rights of the impoverished in Washington DC. I plan on being an active member of the House Life and Social Committees this year, My goals for Parliament this year are to make sure the voice of the freshman class is heard and to make Ware the best house to live in, regarding all aspects of life, on campus!

  • Social Chair, Senior Class Representative

I am a senior and pursuing a government major and a Spanish minor, but I'll be honest, most of my time is spent pursuing my other passions on and off campus.  I play for the F&M Tennis team and I am also a co-executive of the Catastrophic Relief Alliance, the disaster relief club, for which I help organize a week long trip over winter break to a recently devastated area in the US.  I am a member of One in Four which works towards educating men at F&M about sexual assault and ways to prevent it and help survivors.  This is my fourth year on Ware Parliament and as the Social Committee Chair, our committee is planning on providing all Warians with fun new events all year long, as well as continuing old traditions like my favorite, the Thanksgiving Dinner.  This year's Parliament has an incredible amount of pride in Ware and I'm excited to work with them for my last year here, and I encourage anyone who wants to get involved to join a committee or run for class representative, as it is an opportunity that has helped shape who I am today.

  • Operations Chair, Sophomore Class Representative

I'm a Sophomore Representative of Parliament, the Operations chair and a member of the House Life subsidiary, as well as past Treasurer.  I'm from Wilmington, Delaware and I like long walks on the beach and using cliches to sound funny.  I'm a prospective English major with a focus on Creative Writing, but still in search of a possible minor.  Longest tenure as Warian of the Week to date.

  • House Life Chair, Sophomore Class Representative

I'm currently a Sophomore, having served as a First-Year Representative in the Ware College House Parliament. Being from New Jersey, I have a strong sense of political integrity and an excellent fist pump (not actually). Now arrived in central Pennsylvania, I am excited to begin a career in the Ware Parliament. I am currently majoring in Undecided (which I'm told is a very popular major among freshmen). I'm also involved in various other things that I somehow got tricked into signing up for, including ultimate frisbee and the Asian Cultural Society. I was also a member of PIT and hope to continue volunteering while at F&M. My outside interests include biking, skiing, laying on beaches, and watching TV while everybody else shuts up, especially during Giants games. My goal in Parliament this year is to try and be a good representative of the freshmen class, and to see what I can do about some of the broken lights around the common rooms. Also, congrats on reading to the end of this, you must really be passionate about Parliament. Or you're just bored.

  • Secretary, Junior Class Representative

Hi! I'm Sara and I am a junior, currently pursuing a major in English. This will be my second year serving on Parliament and I am excited to serve for the first time as Secretary. Some of my other on-campus activities include being a sectional editor and columnist for The College Reporter, working at the Writers House, being a member of Kappa Delta sorority, and participating in the Rumspringa improvisation group. For fun, I enjoy DJing for WFNM with fellow Parliament member, Liz Owens, and attending campus events. With my love of WARE, I hope to be able to actively better the community and our House by serving on Parliament. I am excited to kick this year into motion and work with everyone to make this WARE's best year yet!

  • Treasurer, Senior Class Representative

This is my fourth year on Parliament (I was a First Year, Sophomore, and Junior Class representative) and I've really enjoyed being involved in Ware.  I love being able to make a difference in the House and the greater college community through Parliament sponsored events.  I'm majoring in Art History, a distance runner on the Cross Country and Track and Field teams, a brother of Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity, as well as a Ware HA on 1st Rauch.  Outside of college, I love snowboarding, spending time at my family's cottage in Canada, and working on the car that I am building with my father (an F&M alum, '72).  My Parliament goal for the upcoming semester is to help write for The Compass, and make some of our new Ware Events into House Traditions.

I am a Senior from Chester Springs, PA, currently joint majoring in Environmental Studies and Government while pursuing a minor in Studio Art. I am excited to become involved in Ware Parliament, and, even though I’m starting late, hope to continue to be a part of it for the rest of my college career. I serve on Panhellenic Council as well. I also recently became involved in the VITA service offered by F&M. For fun I enjoy DJing a radio show with WFNM serving with fellow Ware Parliament member, Sara Blank. I am excited to get to represent the junior class of Ware College House and hope that you will let me know if you have any suggestions for making Ware the best it can be!

  • Senior Class Representative

I am currently a Senior, Special Studies major in "Organizational Behavior" (drawing on elements of Government, Business, and Anthropology) from Potomac, MD.  I am the President of Phi Kappa Psi and a men's and women's athletics broadcaster for baseball, football, basketball, volleyball, and soccer on godiplomats.com

This is my fourth year on Ware Parliament, having served as a Freshman, Sophomore, and Junior class Rep, as well as Prime Minister for three semester. As a Member of Parliament, I manage the House's social media including the website, facebook page, and twitter.  One of my favorite aspects of being part of the House is working with the other awesome House Presidents (ABBA) to further the House system and promote the spirit of community here on campus.  When running for Prime Minister I had four primary goals for the House: reignite involvement in Ware, foster House pride, increase campus and House events, and maintain prudent management of House funds.  I have been so happy to see these goals being realized throughout the year.  We have had the highest attendance ever to our many events such as Chinese Chewsday, Ice Skating at Clipper Magazine Stadium, WARE Winter Bash, The Thanksgiving Dinner, and Hershey Park in the Dark.  I helped design and sell our new line of WARE Wear to increase our House visibility and improve House pride (In addition to completely redesigning the Ware website...)  We have had a full slate of awesome events run by Ware Parliament this year.  Additionally, the Parliament budget has never been better managed and utilized.  I am incredibly excited and proud to see the House grow, and to see WARE become the #1 House here at F&M!  My Parliament goal for the semester was to win an award at Evening of the Stars (Ware in the World won Outstanding Student Organization) as well as to organize the Ware March Madness Pool.

  • Freshman Class Representative

Hi! I am currently a freshman at F&M with an undecided major so far. I hail from Arlington, VA, but I went to middle school and high school in Washington, DC. My main interests are tennis and softball. I do not play either one at F&M but they are nonetheless my favorite hobbies! I am also interested in joining one of the many sororities on campus. My general love for Ware was the reason why I ran for a seat in Parliament. I am thrilled that I have the opportunity to share my ideas and hear new ones in order to make Ware the best college house on campus!

I am a freshman from Allentown, Pennsylvania. Although largely undecided as of right now, I have a budding interest in sociology as a major. Aside from representing the freshman class on Ware Parliament, I’m a member of the swim team and the F&M Chessmen. I’m very interested in helping to run Social events as well as coming up with a few events for Social myself. When my time isn’t used for my commitments, I enjoy hanging out with my friends, reading, singing, sleeping, and playing Pokemon. I can’t wait to help Parliament go above and beyond the expectations we have for it, so let’s work together and see what we can make out of this year.

I am a Freshman representative from Millville, NJ intending to major in neuroscience. Other than being on Ware Parliament, I am a fully committed soccer player. Off of the field, I enjoy playing drums, learning, and singing. My decision in joining Ware Parliament is mainly because of the fact that I enjoy helping people. Considering that everyone in Ware is now basically family, I find that I can make the Franklin & Marshall experience wonderful through my involvement in the college house. I am thrilled for an exciting year and I hope everyone else is as well!
