Ware in the World kicked off their signature event "beWARE the Goat" at A Closer Look in Spring 2010. They brought a goat from a local Lancaster farm to campus as part of a fundraiser for Heifer International and to raise awareness for Ware in the World. By the end of the day, they raised over $350 to provide livestock to families in the developing world, helping them to move to self-reliance, dignity, and independence. WARE's work alone can provide for a water buffalo and five ducks, or two llamas and a pig, or three sheep and a flock of geese.
