During last year's color war competition, the balloons we used were extremely strong and didn’t break easily during the water balloon toss. The final toss ended up being 50 ft!!  Oh, and I'll never forget the Waka dance.

PIT made my transition to college so easy because it was such a positive and welcoming environment to be a part of. It is still one of my favorite weeks out of the whole year!

Best PIT Memory: Trying to use one flashlight for 10+ people in a cave that was completely dark and we had to literally squeeze our way through. We thought about coming out and telling our PAs and the other guide that we had lost someone in the cave.

Service at F&M: In addition to doing PIT as a first year, I have volunteered in the rent-a-worker program run by the Habitat for Humanity Club on multiple weekends throughout the year and I have participated in “Teamwork,” when all the sports teams at F&M devote a Sunday to community clean-up in Lancaster City.  Over Winter break, I traveled with the Catastrophic Relief Alliance (CRA), which included six other F&M students and volunteered with the Episcopal Diocese in Galveston, Texas to help rebuild a house that was damaged by Hurricane Ike. 
Other Activities: I am a sophomore representative on the Ware College House Parliament, and I am a member of the CRA, which is in charge of coordinating the Japan relief efforts with the F&M community.
