Throughout the week, students will learn about community service, Lancaster city and county, leadership, and themselves. Below is a brief description of the four different workshops in which first-year students can participate:
This team is designed to help local children, ages 5 and 6, prepare for the transition to first grade. Students will take the children on field trips as well as participate in other fun games and activities.
Team members will work on local gardening and food access projects in support of the Lighten Up Lancaster County Coalition’s efforts to fight the obesity epidemic.
One Goal uses soccer to help recently resettled refugees become acquainted with American culture through the universal language of sportsmanship and teamwork. Our student team members will impact the lives of young children on and off the soccer field.
This team spends their time working on local neighborhood revitalization projects including light construction, painting, and repair projects. If you are into paintbrushes and hammers, join the Building Lancaster team.
