Highmark's Blues on Call

One toll-free phone call or a quick e-mail puts you in touch with Blues On Call, a comprehensive health information and support program for Highmark Blue Shield members.  Whether you have a question about a particular health problem, a prescription you're taking, an upcoming surgery, or you just need someone to talk to about a health concern, you can call Blues On Call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  The service gives you the support you need, when you need it.

Contacting Blues On Call connects you to a Health Coach, a specially-trained registered nurse who can answer any questions you might have, or even help you figure out what questions to ask your doctor at your next appointment. Plus, once you've established a relationship with your health coach, he or she will become familiar with your particular concerns or conditions and can provide more personalized support.

Questions about health don't always come up between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Health Coaches are available when it's convenient for you, by phone or on the Web. Call 1-888-BLUE-428 (1-888-258-3428) to speak directly with a Health Coach or log on to www.highmarkblueshield.com to e-mail Blues On Call.
