International Women's Outreach Committee (IWOC)

  • images-offices-womenscenter-iwoc-jpg

A relatively new group, the International Women's Outreach Committee (IWOC) has two major goals:

  • To connect with women and women's groups overseas and provide assistance (monetary or otherwise), if needed
  • To educate and raise campus awareness of global women's issues on the F&M campus.

IWOC sponsors speakers, films and information sessions plus is actively engaged in raising funds for NGOs and established overseas groups that serve women and children.

IWOC is currently working with American Assistance for Cambodia with the goals of building a school in rural Cambodia to benefit children who currently do not have access to an adequate education.

IWOC meets Mondays at 7pm in the Women's Center.
