Criteria and Submission Requirements
Criteria:
The winning essay will
- have been written for a Foundations course between March 19, 2012 and March 8, 2013
- exemplify the intellectually inquisitive and interdisciplinary spirit of Foundations

display
- a clear, concise, and compelling controlling idea
- effective development of its argument through appropriate use of evidence
- detailed supporting analysis of that evidence
- grammatical and stylistic correctness
Requirements for submission:
- submit at any time during the fall or spring semesters up until 4pm on March 8, 2013
- visit the Writing Center at least one time to work on the essay
- include a copy of the assignment
- include the graded essay
Submit your essay as an email attachment to writingcenter@fandm.edu. Printed support materials should be submitted to the Writing Center's main office, Diagnothian Hall 200.
