Affiliation Agreements
Franklin & Marshall has a limited number of affiliation agreements with health professions schools. Basically, these programs present students with opportunities to apply early or be considered for admission through a special program of admission. F&M's Early Selection Program with George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences is intended to encourage talented and committed second-year students who have achieved academic distinction to pursue undergraduate majors outside of the sciences and gain a provisional early acceptance to the M.D. program. Competitive students for the program must demonstrate high academic achievement in both science and non-science curriculum. Accepted students will have considerable flexibility in both sequencing and completing premedical requirements, thus allowing them to pursue varied academic interests. Students need to be at a point in their college career where they are in a position to present themselves for consideration. Admissions requirements include:

3.3 overall GPA; no science grade lower than B-

Declared an academic major outside of the sciences

APPLICATION DEADLINE: MARCH 1
F&M's Early Selection Program with Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine provides exceptional second year college students in excellent academic standing with the opportunity to apply for a provisional early acceptance to medical school. To be eligible students must reside in the State of Pennsylvania. Finally, students applying to this program should be both familiar with and strongly inclined to attend Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine. Students need to be at a point in their college career where they are in a position to present themselves for consideration. Admissions requirements include:

Completion of eight of ten required premedical courses

Combined SAT scores of 1250 or higher

A cumulative GPA of 3.5 at the end of the sophomore year

APPLICATION DEADLINE: MAY 15
The Mount Sinai School of Medicine offers through Franklin & Marshall College and a few other undergraduate schools a program called The Humanities & Medicine Program. This program is designed for undergraduate humanities majors who are interested in a career in medicine. Successful completion of this program qualifies students for admission to the Mount Sinai School of Medicine while pursuing a diverse undergraduate preparation that encourages broad study in the humanities and in the social sciences. Students apply to the program early in their sophomore year and are notified of admission by the middle of December of that year. The program will accept applications from students in their junior year on a space available basis. Admissions requirements include:
