Directions from F&M to the Susquehanna

Go Northwest on Harrisburg Pike, towards Route 30.
Enter onto Route 30 West via the ramp on the left
- Follow Route 30W for 9.3 miles
Exit at PA-441S toward PA-462/COLUMBIA
At the top of the ramp, turn left onto Chickies Hill Road/PA-441
At the second stoplight (with the Subway on the corner), turn right onto Chestnut Street/ PA-462
- Follow this over the bridge
- - (If you look out to the left side of the bridge, you will see the area of the river on which we row. We stay on the far side of the wooded islands you see.)
At the end of the bridge, make a hairpin right onto Hellam Street/PS-624
At the stop sign, turn right onto South Front Street
- Follow this for 3.1 miles – the road get hilly and passes several fields
Shortly after passing Lauxmont Farms on your left and “The Hilltop” on your right, turn left onto Boathouse Road
- The turn is immediately before passing a red and white light house on the left, and there is a sign for Ice Cream at the turn
Follow Boathouse Road to the left, and keep going until you see a blue roof just before a one-lane bridge – this is the boathouse
