Treat Your Student!
Surprise your student on his/her birthday or any special occasion.
Here are three ways we recommend you can have a special treat prepared here in Lancaster and delivered to campus to help your student celebrate an important day. The first two local businesses will deliver to the Steinman College Center Information Desk. The staff at the College Center will call your student to let him/her know that there's a surprise waiting to be picked up. What fun!
1. La Petite Patisserie is a delightful new bakery located inside Lancaster Central Market. Their products are all made from scratch using the finest local ingredients. All deliveries include a hand-written message from the sender as well as a signature pink pastry box decorated with a bow. Stop by Central Market on a Tuesday/Friday/Saturday morning next time you're in town to sample some goodies yourself! Some of the options you can order for your student are:
- Cupcakes - a king-sized cupcake or a dozen or two regular cupcakes for sharing
- Gourmet Cakes in various flavors (8-inch)
- Breakfast Sampler/Late Night Studies: cheese danish, apple strudel, season fruit crumb cake
- Le Petite Sampler: cheese danish, apple strudel, crumb cake, decadent brownie, peanut butter swirl brownie, s'more granola bar, chocolate shortbread, lemon shortbread, coconut macaroons, gourmet cookie sandwich

2. The House of Clarendon is a wonderful bakery nearby that delivers cakes to campus for our students. This is not your everyday bakery! Their cakes are truly special. You can choose the flavors and the decorations and they'll bake your cake to your specifications. Drop in when you're in Lancaster to see their cake displays and have a tasty treat.

3. Our own F&M Catering Department prepares yummy cakes right here on campus! You can choose what size and flavor you'd like and our bakers will go to work! On the special day, your student will be notified to come pick up their cake at Dining Services.
