Student Financial Aid Account Online

Welcome to MyAidAward.  Similar to other online accounts which you may have, including MyDiplomat, MyAidAward is a secure, password protected and encrypted system that allows you to view your F&M financial aid information online.  It is brought to you by the College’s Office of Financial Aid.  MyAidAward allows you to view online your need-based and/or merit-based aid awards, loan amounts, loan history, documents that have been received by the aid office, documents in need for completion of your aid application, and messages relevant to you.

In which "Current Award Year" should I be logged in?

At the top of the main page, in the blue menu bar, you should choose either the current award year, or you may choose next year's award year.  You will likely see different tab menus available to you depending upon which award year you are logged.

How do I retrieve my PIN?

In order to access your MyAidAward account, you will need your student short username (your first initial plus first 7 letters of your last name -- all combined).  Ben Franklin’s short username would be "bfrankli." You will also need to obtain your personal identification number, or PIN, which will be sent to you in a separate email upon your request.  Your PIN in nonsensical and is randomly generated by the software system.  It cannot be changed or personalized, so when you receive it, please keep it safe and secure.  Your PIN is sent to your @fandm.edu email account.  It cannot and will not be released over the phone or in person.  If you wish to share access to your MyAidAward account with your parents, you are welcome to provide them access. 

In order to obtain your PIN:

1.  Simply logon to (https://myaidaward.fandm.edu). 
2.  In the LOG IN section, enter your student short username in the "Student ID" field, i.e., (first initial followed by last name/portion of last name), e.g., Benjamin Franklin would be "bfrankli."  The Student ID in not case sensitive.
3.  In the bottom of the LOG IN section, click on the hot link entitled "Receive PIN by e-mail." A message in red text should pop in the LOG IN section that reads:  "Your PIN has been e-mailed to you."  Your PIN will automatically be sent to your @fandm.edu email address. 
4.  If instead you receive a message in red text in the LOG IN section that reads: "Login ID not found.  Please contact the financial aid officer," check the accuracy of your short username, re-enter your short username in STUDENT ID, and click on "Receive PIN by e-mail" again.  If it still does not work, call the Office of Financial Aid at 717-291-3991.
5.  Once you have successfully received the auto-generated email with your PIN, click on the link in the email and/or return to the LOG IN screen.
6.  Enter both your Student ID and you PIN.

You should successfully be logged into MyAidAward.

In which browser will MyAidAward work?

The College Board cites Internet Explorer 6.0 or better as the only supported Web browser for MyAidAward.  We have found, however, that Firefox and Safari can work as well.
