Bead for Life Jewelry Sale

As part of International Women's Week (sponsored by The Women's Center and International Programs), the F&M community had the opportunity to buy handmade, paper bead jewelry from Uganda, Africa on Thursday and Friday, March 6 and 7, 2008. All proceeds from the jewelry sale was sent to the beaders in Uganda to help pay for community development programs, education, health care, and food. The Women's Center raised $2,706.
