RachelMajor: Classical Art and Archaeology and Ancient History (Classics)
Minor: Italian, Music

Extracurricular Activities: Symphonic Orchestra, Philharmonia Chamber Orchestra, F&M Chamber Music Society (Quartets), Violin Lessons/Masterclass, MUS (instrumental music honor society), Chi Omega, and tour guiding

Favorite F&M Class: Latin 101! I was really scared to take Latin because I thought it would be really difficult, but Dr. Gretchen Meyers was amazing and made Latin so enjoyable and I ended up loving the language. My current summer goal is to read The Aeneid in Latin.

Fun Fact: I am a triplet! There are two more of me!

Alice, Class of 2012

AliceMajor: Public Health (at least that's what it is today!)

Extracurricular Activities: Field Hockey, SAAC (Student Athletic Action Committee), Chi Omega, Middle School Girls Lacrosse Coach at Lancaster Country Day, HA for Bonchek House, and tour guiding

Abroad Plans: I hope to travel to Africa and put my public health interests to use at the F&M soccer field. I want to work with the kids who are affected with HIV and AIDS.

Favorite F&M Professor: Dean Stameshkin! Dean S is my advisor and was the professor of my freshman seminar, Race and Ethnicity in American History. He is awesome and will always be there to talk to. I will always be one of his Sweet 16!

Fun Fact: My initials are the first, middle, and last letter of the alphabet (ANZ).

Evan, Class of 2011

evanMajor: Anthropology

Extracurricular Activities: Poor Richards A Cappella, Habitat for Humanity, Theater, HA for Schnader House (x2), and tour guiding

Abroad Plans: Katmandu and Tibet for Spring 2010.  I plan on meeting the Dalai Lama.

Favorite F&M Memory: I love that on warm days here at F&M everyone just hangs out on Hartman Green.

Favorite F&M Class: Anthropology 100 because Professor Cable was so fun and interesting. She also told the best stories.

Abroad Plans: Copenhagen, Denmark - The Danish Institute for Study Abroad in Fall 2009

Favorite F&M Memory: Sitting in the front row of the Barack Obama rally in Buchanan Park in September 2008!

Fun Fact: I have a twin brother, I love Pennsylvania German things, and last summer I worked for United States Senator John Kerry (D-MA).

Favorite F&M Class: Modern Germany with Maria Mitchell! (Plus I house-sit for her)

EmmyMajor: Psychology
Minor: Women and Gender Studies
Research: 390 with the Psych department, and I volunteer in the Developmental Psychology Lab. PreLaw Track

Extracurricular Activities: Diplomatic Corps Intern, F&M Dance Team, Sweet Ophelia A Cappella, Chi Omega Sorority (Recruitment Chair), F&M Players (theater),  and F&M Cares
Abroad: Galway, Ireland in Fall 2008

Favorite F&M Classes: Pregnancy Outcomes taught by 4 different professors. We used data collected by the Public Policy professor to analyze the pregnancy outcomes from 3 groups of women: African Americans, Hispanics, and the Amish.

Favorite F&M Memory: At a lax game, a group of guys with painted chests would do ten pushups after each goal. Near the end of the game, President Fry did the ten pushups while all the guys cheered!

Kelsey, Class of 2011

Extracurricular Activities: Kappa Delta Sorority, Ware College House Events Committee, Pi Alpha History Honors Society, and Intramural Soccer

Abroad Plans: I am studying in Bath, England for the upcoming year.

Favorite F&M Professor: Professor Maria Mitchell from the History Department! She was an amazing freshman writing seminar professor, and is now my advisor.

Favorite F&M Class: Astronomy! Even as a History/English major and minor I still loved this class.

Extracurricular Activities: Habitat for Humanity Exec Board, PIT PA (community service), and Pi Alpha Theta History Honor Society

Abroad Plans: University College, London this coming Fall

Favorite F&M Professor: Professor Abby Schrader. I took her HIS225 course and proceeded to take all of her other courses.

Favorite F&M Class: Intro to Islam. This was the class that made me want to become a Religious Studies major.

Fun Fact: I am a cat person!

Favorite Places on Campus: I love Hartman Green and the F&M Bookstore. Hartman Green was one of my first memories of the college when I ditched my tour and just hung out with current students. That's when I decided to come to F&M

Favorite F&M Class: Intro to East Asian Art with Professor Rick Kent. I love Professor Kent! I also loved History of Russia, taught by Professor Abby Schrader.
