Festival de Cine Latinoamericano

Every Spring the Latin American Film Festival brings students together for screenings of the latest, most-celebrated additions to the Spanish-speaking Independente Movie scene.  

Club de español

El club de español has various activities throughout the year.

Sigma Delta Pi

The National Hispanic Honor Society. Here you will find criteria for membership, information on summer scholarships, and a link to the national web site.

Charlar y Cenar

"Charlar y Cenar" is an activity sponsored by the Office of the Dean of Students and the Spanish Department. During the semester, the department sponsors several informal dinners in which the students gather together to practice their conversational skills in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.

  • F&M's foreign language literary magazine.
  • PLUME invites original literary works in languages other than English, as well as original literary translations. All original works, or works by other authors in a foreign language, must be accompanied by the contributor's own English translation.
  • PLUME also welcomes the submission of original artwork and photography.
  • PLUME's purpose is to celebrate all languages and cultures.
