Roanoke, Virginia Alternative Spring Break

Trip Information 

If you like traveling to new places,  getting your hands dirty, and want to do something meaningful and fun on spring break, this  trip is for you!  Are you curious to learn more about community,  non-profits, and what volunteering and service work means to the people they serve?  Register today!!

Participants will have the opportunity to engage in community development work through working with REACH in Roanoke and serving with various non-profit organizations in Southeast Roanoke.

This trip will also feature intentional discussion about service work and dialogue with community leaders from the Roanoke area. Participants will be encouraged to critically think about the nature of community service throughout their time in Roanoke.

Deadlines, Dates, Important Information 

Trip Dates March 11-17, 2018

Trip Cost:  $175 per student. The fee includes transportation, lodging and meals.  Participants are responsible for extra expenses such as the purchase of personal souvenirs, snacks, etc.

Registration Deadline: January 31, 2018  (Or as soon as all spots are filled.) This trip has a minimum of six students and a maximum of 10. Additional students will be placed on a waitlist.
