One Library, Two Locations

The College Library is housed in two locations: the Shadek-Fackenthal Library and the Martin Library of the Sciences. We also offer a wide array of scholarly resources online, including ebooks, streaming films, online journals, and much more.

 

The Shadek-Fackenthal Library

Shadek-Fackenthal Library (or Shad-Fack, as our students call it) holds 380,000 print books and periodicals in the humanities, arts and social sciences, as well as media on all subjects, flexible classrooms and meeting spaces, research librarians, instructional technology tools and numerous study spaces.

 

Martin Library of the Sciences

Martin Library of the Sciences contains 55,000 books and periodicals in the sciences, and the College’s Archives and Special Collections. It’s also home to F&M’s Information Technology Services (ITS) Help Desk and Technology Lending Center.
