Interested in perfecting your Italian language while experiencing the culture of Tuscany? Come learn more about the F&M in Italy 2019 Summer Travel Course. Led by Professors Giovanna Lerner, Scott Lerner, Arianna Fognani, and Valeria Castelli , students will receive two F&M credits toward their Italian language study at the completion of the program.
The program is approximately six weeks long and is divided into two sessions with a group travel week in between. All students will have four hours of class instruction daily and will be free during the weekends, except for organized field trips. All courses are specially designed for the program and aim to take full advantage of the location in Italy (including visits to markets, interviews, research on local history, artwork, and monuments.) Regular dinners and excursions with faculty are also part of the immersion program.
Students should have completed at least ITA 102 by the end of the Spring 2019 semester to be considered for the program.
All F&M students will automatically be considered for financial aid.
