Hello, Counseling Colleagues!

Thank you for taking the time to visit the Franklin & Marshall College website. We hope this page proves to be a useful resource as you help your students navigate the college search process. Before pointing out a few important links, we would like to thank you for recommending such great students to our College. We rely on counselors to convey the quality experiences and close interactions that our campus provides. We love to hear from students who are referred by their counselors and, in turn, connect with the College.

Things to know about F&M:

  • Each staff member recruits and reviews applications from a specific geographic territory, which enables us to become familiar with high schools and review applicants within that context. Search by state or country to find the dean that serves your region.
  • In your efforts to guide students, you may be interested in reviewing our Class Profile for the latest enrollment facts and figures. Similarly, if you are interested in an update regarding what is new on campus, check out the latest news from F&M.
  • Franklin & Marshall College requests counselor nominations of high school students from diverse backgrounds and a strong history of leadership for the Collegiate Leadership Summit. Students attending the two day summit explore their leadership abilities as they transition to a college environment. The cost of travel and attendance is covered by the College. Counselors are encouraged to nominate leaders to attend one of the two summits held in the fall.
    Here is the nomination form.
  • Finally, we invite you on an individual basis to visit us, our campus, and our beautiful City of Lancaster. Counselors will be provided with overnight accommodations, a sampling of local restaurants, and of course, good conversations with our dean staff. For further information and to schedule a visit, contact us at visit@fandm.edu
  • If you hope to bring your students to campus as a group, please fill out a Group Visit Request
