Where We Serve
AdvisePA places well-trained, recent college graduates in partner high schools across Pennsylvania to serve as full-time Pathways Advisers. These advisers support students as they explore and pursue a wide range of postsecondary options, including college, workforce entry, trade and technical training, military service, and credentialing programs.
AdvisePA currently partners with nearly 10 high schools across Centre, Clearfield, Cumberland, Delaware, Franklin, Lancaster, and Luzerne counties in Pennsylvania.
Advisers work one-on-one and in group settings with students and families to guide them through the postsecondary planning process. A core focus of the role is career exploration, helping students understand the full spectrum of educational and professional opportunities available to them. Advisers collaborate closely with school counselors, teachers, administrators, and community partners to coordinate college and career programming, such as FAFSA completion events, application workshops, military and trade school info sessions, career fairs, campus visits, and senior Decision Day celebrations, ensuring all students are equipped to make informed and confident choices about their futures.
High schools interested in learning more about a potential partnership should email Anabel Menifee, Director, AdvisePA.
