Herman Art Center
The Dr. Leon Herman Art Center houses studio facilities for drawing, painting, architectural design, and printmaking. After recent construction, we now have digital and darkroom photo labs in the building, and our sculpture studio includes a foundry for bronze casting.
Visual Resources
The Visual Resources Collection at Franklin & Marshall is rich in images of European and American Art and Architecture, Asian Art, and Photography. Significant new acquisitions in the areas of Prints, Costume and Dress, and Decorative Arts are a response to new courses in the Connections curriculum.
Phillips Museum of Art
The Phillips Museum of Art, which contains three major galleries, is a primary resource for students of Art History. The Franklin & Marshall art collection, accumulated over the College's 200-year history, is available to students for research and classroom study. It consists of approximately 1,000 paintings, sculptures, prints, drawings, decorative arts, and a wide variety of objects.
