A native Lancastrian, Ashley graduated salutatorian from Hempfield High School before continuing her education at the University of Delaware. There she earned her B.S. in Statistics and M.A. in Counseling in Higher Education and discovered her passion for working in higher education along the way.  While earning her Master’s, Ashley partnered with the University of Delaware’s Career Services Center to expand internship promotion and advising for students within the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources. She also interned within the University’s Center for Counseling and Student Development.


Most recently, Ashley worked in the Philadelphia area as an Academic Advisor for undeclared students at Gwynedd Mercy University. She also taught first year seminar and service learning courses at Gwynedd. Outside of advising and teaching, Ashley sang with Gwynedd Mercy University’s choral ensemble, the Voices of Gwynedd, both regionally and abroad. Her favorite performances with the choir were singing the National Anthem at a Philadelphia Phillies game and touring across the country of Spain.
