Executive Board Attends National Conference
Members of Active Minds at F&M's executive board attended Active Minds' 11th National Mental Health on Campus Conference at the University of Maryland, College Park. Active Minds F&M heard about what other chapters are doing, shared their successes with events like the Annual Outrunning Stigma 5K Fun Run/Walk, and received an award.
Unleash Your Potential
F&M students enjoyed a study break with several dogs from Keystone Pet Enhanced Therapy Services who visited Shadek-Fackenthal Library.
Outrunning Stigma 5K
In the spring, Active Minds hosts an organized 5K race around campus where all proceeds from the race go to the national Active Minds organization, to help support our chapter and chapters like ours to educate and reduce the stigma associated with mental illness.
