Fair Trade Café
Every Wednesday from 11:30am - 1pm at the Center for the Sustainable Environment. Enjoy vegan soup and grilled cheese sandwich for $2.50 each. For the specific menu each week, see the calendar listing below.
Our weekly meetings are held at the Center for the Sustainable Environment every Tuesday at 7pm. During our meetings we discuss upcoming EAA events and the latest environmental news. After we prepare soups for Fair Trade Cafe as well as advertise by chalking around campus!

Apple Picking & Cider Pressing
Each year EAA apple picks at Cherry Hill Orchards, when the apples are fresh, crispy, and delicious. Then we use our apples to make hand-pressed apple cider with our cider presser. Lots of hard work leads to the best apple cider we've ever tasted!
Cooking with Mr. Bakken
Author of Honey, Olives, Octopus, EAA members were delighted to spend time cooking Mediterranean dishes with Christopher Bakken after his Common Hour talk this February.
EAA made bowls in the fall out of wood. The bowls are created using burning charcoal. We plan to continue this project in the spring to use the bowls at Fair Trade Cafe!
Sick of re-wearing the same clothes? Looking for some new ones at a great price? Come on out to the annual spring clothing swap! Bring your old clothes, and exchange them for new ones…for free! EAA members help run this event on Hartman Green in the beautiful spring weather.
Millport Clean Up with New College House
EAA and New College House went to Millport Conservancy to help clear out invasive species. It is a day full of fun in the great outdoors.
EAA helps plant trees with the Chesapeake Bay Foundation every fall. Members are thrilled to get involved in the local Lancaster community by planting trees to keep the bay cleaner.
EAA members participate in Garden Club with Wharton Elementary students after school one day a week. The elementary students love working out in the school gardens and enjoy collaborating with college students! It's a great way to enjoy the beautiful Lancaster weather and get involved in the community!
Victory Garden with Phillips Museum
EAA teamed up with the Phillips Museum to raise awareness about Victory Gardens from World War I. Students were invited to plant herbs that are now used in Fair Trade Cafe soups!
Cooking Club Dinner
Cooking Club and EAA collaborated to cook a delicious dinner together! Members made new friends and consumed savory pasta dishes.
