This organization works to promote tolerance and equality for the LGBTQIA+ community on campus, and foster safe spaces for students to feel comfortable discussing LGBTQIA+ issues without the fear of judgment.
The LGBTA is a club on campus that works to create a safe space for members of the LGBT+ community and their allies. We meet every Tuesday from 8-9 PM in the Allied Resource Center (ARC) in the basement of the College Center next to the Women's Center (we usually have a sign out before meetings to point people in the right direction). Meetings are mostly discussion-based, covering topics such as LGBT+ politics, health, representation in the media, and coming out. For more information feel free to message our Facebook page or email one of our officers.
