New Student Move-in Day 2020

What to expect:

Tips for Traveling to F&M

Arriving:  When you arrive follow the F&M Event Parking signs.  You will be directed to the  Alumni Sports and Fitness Center (ASFC).  Grab your photo ID (all students) and other necessary original documents  (only needed if applying for an on-campus job) and head into the ASFC for check-in.

Check-in:  Once there, you will be greeted and given a packet of helpful resources.  Campus services, local banks, laundry services, and the campus car rental service will have tables around the room, so be sure to check them out!   If you plan to work on-campus, you will stop at the student employment table to complete your payroll paperwork.  All students will take their photo ID to the Auxiliary Services table to collect their F&M student ID card.  If you have not yet submitted your photo for your student ID, please do so as soon as possible (you can find instructions here).

After you have your F&M student ID card, you will be directed to a table with campus maps.  This table not only has a map that shows you how to pull your car up to your House, but also gives temporary parking pass to put on your car windshield.

Moving-in:  When you have browsed the services tables, collected your student ID, map and parking pass, you can return to your vehicle and follow the map for driving up to your residence hall.  HAs are ready and waiting to help you unload your vehicle and move you into your home for the next year!
