Welcome, Spring Incoming Students!
Welcome to the F&Mily! We are so glad you have chosen to join our community and look forward to welcoming you in person in January. Please take some time to explore this webpage which we hope will be a resource to you as you prepare for Orientation.
NOTE: Students will be contacted via F&M email to complete a housing application in December. Housing assignments are based solely on room availability and will be sent via email in early January to all incoming Spring students.
Things to do:
URGENT: Student Health Information Form
Please download and complete the Student Health Information form (found here). It is due December 1 (incoming transfer students are granted an extension to this deadline) . Forms can be mailed to The Student Wellness Center at Franklin and Marshall College, 931 Harrisburg Ave. Lancaster, PA 17603, or you can fax the forms to 717-735-9234 or you can scan and email the forms to email@example.com. If you choose to email your forms, you should follow up to double check that the forms have been received. The Student Wellness Center MUST receive your form prior to your arrival on-campus. For more information about our student health services, please visit their website.
Within 2-3 days of your enrollment fee being processed the ITS Helpdesk will email you instructions for accessing your F&M email account. Follow the directives in this email to begin receiving all notifications from the College. Be sure to check your email everyday!
Begin checking your F&M email account in December for an email from Lori Foust, Director of Housing. This email will include information on accessing the Spring 2018 Housing Application Form. Completion of this application will begin a conversation with Ms. Foust about your housing preferences for the upcoming Spring semester. Please note we place all incoming students into housing available within the College's portfolio of options.
The Housing Application will be available on Monday, December 18th on Inside F&M. Log in to the website using your F&M Net ID and click on the "My Housing Self Service" link.
Meal Plan Options:
For additional information on your meal plan options, please visit the Dining Services page HERE. All first years and sophomores are required to carry a meal plan. First year students arriving as part of the Spring Admit program students are automatically signed for the 225 block plan . You have the option of switching to the 20 meals per week or the 14 meals per week. To do so, contact Lori Foust. Transfer students are typically contacted before being signed up for a meal plan, but available options are based on the number of credits upon entry.
The meal plan can be adjusted up until the second week of classes if you find you need a different plan.
F&M ID Card Photo:
Prior to arriving to campus, please submit a photo for your Franklin and Marshall ID card. Instructions on how to take and upload your ID picture can be found here. Your new student ID will then be made over winter break and ready for you to pick up during orientation.
