2019-2020: Gamechangers

Please join the Center for the Sustainable Environment and other departments across campus in celebrating female filmmakers in the  "Gamechangers" film series.  This series will take the place of Green Cinema for this academic year.  Regular Green Cinema screenings will begin again in the 2020-2021 academic year. 

Game Changers: Women in Film is a yearlong, international film series highlighting the remarkable and innovative work of women filmmakers and women on screen. All fourteen films in the series are directed by women and focus on women’s experiences. Film production and financing span eight different countries. This series is sponsored by the College Library, Women’s, Gender and Sexuality Studies, and Film & Media Studies with additional support and film selections by The Center for the Sustainable Environment; French & Francophone Studies; Italian Studies; Judaic Studies; and Spanish and Latin American Studies. The fall lineup is listed below. All films will be shown at 7:00 pm on Sunday or Tuesday evenings at the locations indicated - please check individual listings for specific dates. There is no admission charge. All films will be shown in their language of origin with English subtitles when appropriate.
