All employees of the College are required to have a photo identification card, issued free of charge, as soon as they begin working at Franklin & Marshall. The spouse or same-sex domestic partner of a College employee or retiree, and a College employee's dependent children ages 12 through 18 (or through age 22 if a full-time student), may also receive an ID card after providing supporting documentation.
To receive a College ID card, authorization must first be obtained from Human Resources. After authorization is provided, the College ID may be obtained from the Auxiliary Services Office, located on the first floor of the Steinman College Center. A photo ID must be provided to Auxiliary Services for proof of identity.
ID cards should be carried at all times while on campus. ID cards are needed for admission to the Alumni Sports and Fitness Center, most campus athletic and cultural events, for Business Office transactions, and for borrowing books and/or materials from the library or equipment from Mayser Gym.
ID cards, including all those issued to dependents, must be returned to Human Resources at the time employment ends.
