I am on the F&M Softball team and a member of The Hidden Opponent Club.
What did you enjoy most about your time at the College?
What I enjoyed most about my time here is being part of a team, specifically F&M Softball. Playing for this team has taught me important life skills such as teamwork, time management, and discipline. As a team, we strive to support each other in every way possible, creating a sense of unity and shared growth. It has been an amazing opportunity to bond with my teammates as we work toward a common good, both on and off the field.
Why did you choose to attend F&M?
I chose to attend F&M because of its academically rigorous programs, exceptional student-to-faculty ratio, and supportive community. I was drawn to the College's commitment to academic excellence and was eager to embrace a challenge that would push me to reach my full potential. During my campus visit in high school, I fell in love with the campus and I knew that F&M was where I wanted to spend the next four years of my life. Since starting at F&M, I have been blown away by the dedication of the faculty to helping me with my success. Every professor and adviser I have met has gone above and beyond to ensure that I am supported in every way possible.
What brief advice would you give to students considering attending F&M?
If you are considering attending F&M, my biggest piece of advice would be to take advantage of all the resources available to you. F&M offers a wide range of career, academic and support services, including the Office of Student and Post-Graduate Development, the Writing Center, Counseling Services, and academic advising to help students succeed both in and out of the classroom. Whether you need help with a specific class, are exploring career options, or simply need someone to talk to, there are people and programs at F&M that can help.
What are your plans for after graduation?
I will be moving here, to Lancaster, Pa., to work for Clark Associates as a vendor analyst.
