The Nolt Film Award is a grant of up to $1000 that supports projects by Franklin & Marshall College student filmmakers. Nolt Film Awards are typically reserved for Film & Media majors and minors, however, any Franklin & Marshall College student may apply. Projects must be completed prior to the student recipient’s graduation date.
A student must be a major or joint-major in Film & Media. Special studies majors may also propose honors, but Film & Media must be the primary program of study.
The Film and Media Studies program regularly takes students to film festivals near and far; most recently the Telluride Film Festival in 2021 and 2019.
