Take and submit an ID card photo
All first year students and new faculty members are required to submit a passport-style digital photo to F&M to be used in the creation of your official student ID card.
Step One: Find your F&M ID number on the "MY INFO" tab of Inside F&M. Write it down. Your login credentials and email account information were sent to the email address you provided to the Office of Admission at the time of your application.
Step Two: Have someone take your picture with a camera or cell phone. Use a plain white or off-white background. Your photo will need to comply with the same guidelines provided by the U. S. Department of State. Here is a link to to the Department of State's website:
Step Three: Crop your photo to 2 x 2 inches (51 x 51 mm).
- Save the cropped photo as "CROPPED-IMG -#". Send this saved photo to your cell phone or computer email address. (Replace “#" with your F&M ID number you wrote down in step 1). Your photo should look like this:
Step Four: Email your cropped photo (actual size) using your F&M email account to IDPhoto@fandm.edu.
The Auxiliary Service Office will review the photo you submit and if all guidelines have been followed, they will produce your ID card.
Your ID card will be issued to you when you come to campus in August (or during your Human Resources orientation for faculty and professional staff). A photo ID (drivers license or passport are acceptable) will be required for you to pick up your College ID. Contact the Auxiliary Service Office if you hav any questions. 717-358-4730
