Justin B. Hopkins has served as Assistant Director of the Franklin and Marshall College Writing Center since 2011. Justin graduated from F&M in 2006 with a double major in English Literature and Theatre. He received his M.A. in International Performance Research from the Universities of Warwick, England, and Tampere, Finland, and in 2017 he completed his doctorate in Composition and TESOL at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Justin's scholarly publications include "Are Our Workshps Working? Assessing Assessment as Research" and "Preferred Pronouns in Writing Center Reports" in the Writing Center Journal Praxis, "Coming 'Home': An Autoethnographic Exploration of Third Culture Kid Transition" in Qualitative Inquiry, and his Masters thesis, “Abstract and Brief Chronicles: Creative and Critical Curation of Performance,” in Liminalities. His book Autoethnography in Undergraduate Writing Classes is under contract for publication with Peter Lang.
