Franklin & Marshall rowing coach Rob Weber (center) coached the U.S. women’s straight four rowing team to first place at the 2013 World Rowing Championships Aug. 30 in Chungju, South Korea. The boat featured (l-r) U.S. National Team rowers Emily Huelskamp, Olivia Coffey, Tessa Gobbo and Felice Mueller. Weber has been active for several years with the U.S. Rowing Women’s Development Camp at Penn Athletic Club Rowing Association in Philadelphia, where he served as an assistant coach in 2010 before taking over as head coach in 2011. During the summer of 2013, Weber served as a volunteer intern under national team head coach Tom Terhaar at the USRowing Princeton Training Center.
