Registration for Freshmen (and Women)

On Sept. 7, 1969, members of the first Franklin & Marshall coed freshmen class assemble in the lobby of the Mayser Center to register for fall classes. Longtime College Registrar Nancy Honaman-Rutter can be seen at the far left assisting with the paper forms. The students sign in using pencils, while their parents mill around in the background. There were 590 students who entered as part of the Class of 1973, including 82 female students.
