Explanation of Mailing Address

There are two P.O. Boxes for the college: P.O. Box 3003 for faculty and professional staff and P.O. Box 3220 for students. The United States Postal Service separates our mail into the two boxes prior to arrival at the college. This helps us sort and deliver mail to the two boxes and expedites delivery. Everything that is mailed through the USPS should be addressed to the correct P.O.Box. That is; P.O. Box 3003 for employees and P.O.Box 3220 for students.

You should provide a street address when shipping through companies like Federal Express, United Parcel Service (UPS), Airborne or DHL because they cannot deliver to a P.O Box. The correct street address to use in this case for both employees and students is 415 Harrisburg Avenue, Lancaster, PA 17603. Note that the zip codes are different for these two addresses. Harrisburg Ave is in zip code area 17603 which surrounds the college in the Northeast sector of the city. Both P.O. Boxes are actually in zip code 17604 which includes all the P.O. Boxes at the Harrisburg Pike Post Office.

Please use the correct full name of the recipient (no nicknames) and either their individual mail number (#) or department name in the address. We frequently have people with the same or similar names so correctly addressed mail will help eliminate the chance of incorrect delivery.

Please use the symbol (#) rather than the word (box) for student individual mail numbers as the the word box is used by the USPS, as in PO Box 3220, and mail can be incorrectly delivered to that particular corresponding box at the USPS.

Note: The college street mailing address is located on Harrisburg Ave. while the USPS, which is 3/4 of a mile west of the college, is on the Harrisburg Pike. Some sources may list Harrisburg Pike as our mailing address in error.
