Michael Kulik joined F&M as Director of the Public Policy Program following a 37-year career with the Federal government, including 27 years with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. At EPA, he held a variety of management positions including Director of the Office of Public Affairs, Deputy Director of the Office of State and Congressional Relations, Deputy Director of Enforcement, Compliance and Environmental Justice, and Director of the Office of Environmental Innovation. He is also currently teaching at the University of Pennsylvania in the Master of Environmental Studies (MES) Program and lecturing in the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences. His areas of specialty include public policy and public health and environmental health issues including asthma, lead poisoning, and tobacco addiction.
