Dear Millport Members and Friends,
We give thanks for your giving. As Thanksgiving draws near, and the beauty of fall is upon us, we can't help but be thankful for all who give to Millport in many ways. There are so many opportunities for support.
Our members believe in our mission of protecting and preserving our land, our water resources and our heritage through education and teamwork. With their generous contributions we are able to continue our programs and all that keeps Millport available to everyone. We thank you! But just like the mill wheel that needed water for all its levels to turn, those who give in other ways are important and appreciated. There are numerous volunteers who have created programs, classes and events that have introduced new ways to learn and enjoy the space Millport offers. We thank you!
Students of all ages come to Millport to explore, learn and enjoy. They share their newfound information in the classroom, and implement projects for others to learn. Teachers, professors and leaders of organizations bring groups to Millport to share their knowledge. Those who come will remember the sound of the rushing water, the satisfaction of getting their hands dirty while potting a seedling, and the sight of the trees they identified. They will remember running freely and discovering something new at each bend in the trail, and being out in the open, fresh air. We thank you!
Community members collaborate on projects and hold events at Millport. We thank you!
We thank you all for giving to Millport in all the ways that you do. And we are most grateful for your support of our accomplishments, and your help with all we must continue to do to remain the vibrant resource we have become for all!
