Nathan Carlos Rupley's Edible Plant Walks

  • flowers at millport conservancy

Join our "plant nerd," Nathan, at Millport at 10 a.m. the second Saturday of each month.

Participants should wear clothing and footwear that can get muddy; they can expect to learn about wild plants all around Millport.

Nathan says, "The main focus will be on edible wild plants, but we will also discuss various other uses including medicine, fiber, tools, basketry, and more. All of this will be covered in the context of ethical harvesting and land management techniques."

When you participate in a plant walk, the suggested donation is $15.
