Senior Spotlight: Engaged With the Campus Community, Inspired by Fellow Students

As they prepare for their May 7 Commencement Ceremony, Franklin & Marshall seniors look back at their four years on campus—and what's next.

Name: Anne Dolan

Major: Government

Hometown: Redding, Conn.

Activities at F&M: Senior Class President, Black Pyramid Senior Honor Society, Common Hour Committee, F&M Orchestra, Kappa Delta Sorority, Alumni Leaders of Tomorrow, and Bonchek College House Orientation Planning Director.

What was your most memorable moment or time at F&M?

Thursdays are my favorite day of the week at F&M. I'm always excited to go to Common Hour at 11:30 and listen to this week's speaker, but I also love to have follow-up conversations with students that afternoon. Thursday nights are also when the Diplomatic Congress holds its meetings. It is energizing and inspiring to be surrounded by a group of students who are so passionate about the school and want to make it the best place it can be.

What did you enjoy most about the College?

Franklin & Marshall gives you opportunity everywhere. If you have an idea that you're excited about, whether it's an interesting research project, a campus event or summer internship, there are people and resources available to make those things happen.

What are your plans for after graduation?

I don't have any plans yet, but I'm excited for the next step, whatever it may be!
