Senior Spotlight: Her Dedication Brought a Golden Year in Competition

As they prepare for their May 12 Commencement ceremony, Franklin & Marshall seniors look back at their four years on campus—and what's next.

Name: Alyssa Ward

Major: Global Environmental Economics

Hometown: Teaneck, N.J.

Activities at F&M: Track and Field, Alumni Leaders of Tomorrow, Hair Junkies.

What has been your most memorable moment or time here at F&M? Winning gold for all of my events during the 2017 outdoor season.

What did you enjoy most about your time at the College? Competing and doing well in track.

What advice would you give to rising seniors? It’s okay to take moments for yourself, and it’s okay to focus on just the things that matter in the moment.

What are your plans for after graduation? I intend to travel to China, California, and Costa Rica.
