First-Year Students Build Relationships Through Community Service

For first-year students with a commitment to community service, Franklin & Marshall College offers them an engaging pre-orientation program, PIT, Putting It Together in the community.  

Students develop relationships and build friendships as they discover the Lancaster community outside the College while performing tasks from helping with horses – and that includes cleaning the stalls – to painting to gardening.

Here’s a few glimpses of how students this year put it together through PIT:
