Common Hour Finishes Semester With ‘A Cappella Hour’

Franklin & Marshall College’s four a cappella groups brought range and depth to conclude the fall semester’s Common Hour series Dec. 5. The event is held each Thursday classes are in session.

Covering songs from Queen, Stevie Wonder, Adele, Imagine Dragons and more, the vocal groups—The Poor Richards, Sweet Ophelia, Kite & Keys, and The Chessmen— drew laughter, smiles and applause before they left the stage in Mayser Gymnasium.

The groups perform once more this weekend: The Chessman and Sweet Ophelia at 7:30 p.m. tonight in the Roschel Performing Arts Center; at 5 p.m. Saturday in Nevin Chapel, The Poor Richards perform followed by Kite & Keys at 7:15 p.m.
