Provides help with General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Principles in Evolution, Ecology, all Physics courses and quantitative elements in any course.

Offers help with any type of writing assignment, including lab reports.  Also, helps with oral and Power Point presentations.

  • lynda.com engages college and university students, supports classroom learning, and promotes faculty and staff development.  Directions for use:  

First Time users: To access lynda.com, go to www.lynda.com.

  • Click the Sign-In Button near the top of the screen.

  • On the next screen, click the link that says “Sign in with your organization”. Enter fandm.edu in the organization box, and click continue.

  • On the next screen, enter your NetID and F&M password.

  • As a first time user, you will be asked if you ever had a lynda.com account before. If you never had one, say NO. If you want to merge information from a former account, say YES. It may take up to a minute to create your account.

Then for subsequent use:

  • Returning users: To access lynda.com, go to www.lynda.com.

  • Click the Sign-in Button near the top of the screen.
  • On the next screen, confirm that your short email address appears. If not, enter it, and then click Continue. The website will know that you are from Franklin & Marshall College and will then prompt you for your F&M credentials.
  • When prompted, login with your NetID and password.
  • Once in, there is a pop-up menu at the top, "Library"--rest your mouse on it, then click on the link "Education + Elearning" to see a menu of options.  One can also perform a search at the top of the window anytime!
