F&M Virtual Job &
The 2021 F&M Job and Internship Fair is going 100% virtual; this year's event will be held entirely on-line!
We are excited to partner with Handshake to run career fairs in a virtual format for 2021.
Friday, January 22nd, 2021 12:00 - 5:00 pm EST
Last year our employer registration filled to capacity and over 300 students and young alumni were in attendance! We ask that our employer partners keep both students and young alumni (recent grads) in mind with options that include internships, part-time positions, seasonal opportunities, full-time employment and potential career transition opportunities, if applicable. We also ask that our employer partners be prepared to discuss any examples of their commitment to diversity and inclusiveness (policy statements, brochures, recruitment initiatives, activity groups, special program initiatives, etc.).
Please note: If you represent a third party recruiting firm or a staffing agency, please advertise opportunities only at your organization and not opportunities for your clients.
Upon registration, we’ll review the details you submitted for approval. At our fair, you’ll be able to engage with students in a variety of formats, including:
Video, audio, and chat communication with students
Group meetings with up to fifty students
1:1 meetings scheduled in advance or after a group session
- By sharing your values and documentation with students ahead of time;;
Note: During registration, you’ll be asked to share the number of representatives who plan to attend the fair—up to 100 representatives per employer are able to participate in the fair. Each representative you register will be able to create their own unique schedule to engage with students later this summer. To learn more about these features check out this virtual fair training webinar recording, which was hosted by Handshake.
Registration has closed for 2021.
