Fellowship Opportunities 

With the exception of the Alfa, all of these fellowships require US citizenship.

Alfa for those with a graduate degree in a field that is relevant is to Russia seeking professional experience in Russia. Applicants are usually between the ages of 25-35.

Boren Scholarship for first-years, sophomores, juniors or seniors interested in studying abroad in regions critical to US interests and underrepresented in study abroad. Campus contact: Dean Sue Mennicke.

Critical Language Scholarship for all current students with at least one year of Russian language study. Deadline: November 15. Contact Prof. Bond if you are interested in applying.

Fulbright Fellowships for seniors or alumni interested in either teaching English abroad or pursuing study or research in one of a 140+ countries. Applications opens in April, and check with the Fellowships Office for the campus deadline.
