Srirupa Dasgupta, director of Web content and multimedia, oversees the College’s all-inclusive online marketing strategy, including the web, video, social media, mobile and e-mail.
She coordinates the work of the multimedia team within the Communications office, which includes a social media coordinator/strategist, a video producer/production manager, and a video producer. The team produces videos and social media content to support the College’s strategic goals of recruiting qualified students, increasing loyalty of and raising funds from alumni, parents and friends, and enhancing the image and influence of the College among audiences beyond campus. She also provides training and consultations to the campus community on best practices for presenting content on the College's website.
Prior to joining Franklin & Marshall College, Sri had an executive coaching practice for seven years focusing on leadership development and change management. Among her clients were TIBCO Software, Charles Schwab & Co. and Women's Initiative for Self Employment.
Previously she was senior manager, services marketing, global consulting services, for Lucent Technologies in Cambridge, Mass., supervising a global team with members in all continents. Prior to Lucent, she worked for McKesson Corp., in Amherst, Mass., for 11 years, where she rose through the ranks from software developer to manager, development and customer support to director, development and technical services.
Sri graduated from Smith College with a bachelor's degree in computer science and studio art, and is a certified Integral Coach®. Sri enjoys dancing Argentine tango, traveling all over the world, cooking and entertaining, and gardening. She lives in Lancaster with her husband and their two children.
