Srirupa Dasgupta coordinates the work of the multimedia team within the Communications office, which includes a social media coordinator/strategist, a video producer/production manager, and a video producer. The team produces videos and social media content to support the College’s strategic goals of recruiting qualified students, increasing loyalty of and raising funds from alumni, parents and friends, and enhancing the image and influence of the College among audiences beyond campus. She also provides training and consultations to the campus community on best practices for presenting content on the College's website.
Prior to joining Franklin & Marshall College, Sri had an executive coaching practice for seven years focusing on leadership development and change management. Before that, she spent fourteen years in the software industry, where she rose through the ranks from software developer to manager of development and customer support, to director of technical services at McKesson Corp., to finally senior manager, services marketing, for Lucent Technologies, supervising a global team with members in all continents.
Sri graduated from Smith College with a bachelor's degree in computer science and studio art.
