Franklin & Marshall College and the Lancaster Stormers announced on August 10 an eight-year agreement establishing Penn Medicine Park as the official home stadium for F&M baseball. Under the multi-year partnership, all Diplomats baseball practices and home games will take place at the award-winning facility, providing student-athletes, coaches, and fans with an upgraded collegiate baseball experience.

Through this joint venture, the F&M baseball program gains comprehensive access to Penn Medicine Park’s professional amenities. During its season, the Diplomats will use dedicated locker rooms, equipment storage facilities, and have full access to the stadium’s state-of-the-art training environments. In addition, all F&M students will receive free digital tickets to every Stormers game, and faculty and staff will have access to Stormers tickets too.

The facility agreement extends beyond team operations to encompass campus visibility, joint marketing, and student engagement:

• Enhanced Local Sports Hub and Ballpark Visibility: A prominent, co-branded scoreboard display facing the F&M campus will physically bridge the College and the surrounding neighborhood. Prominent digital and physical stadium signage will showcase the partnership to hundreds of thousands of venue visitors throughout the year.
  
  
• Joint Regional Marketing and Fan Development: The Lancaster Stormers front office and F&M Athletics will cross-promote collegiate and professional games, driving regional sports tourism, boosting game-day attendance in downtown Lancaster, and creating collaborative promotional events for baseball fans across Central Pennsylvania.
  
  
• Community and Student Access: The agreement creates new touchpoints for local youth and students, including free digital admission passes for all F&M students to Stormers games and shared access to stadium entertainment suites for community gatherings, alumni events, and civic hosting opportunities.

The multi-year agreement begins immediately, with F&M baseball debuting at Penn Medicine Park for the upcoming season in spring 2027.
