What is a debit account?
A debit account is an account into which funds can be deposited, then accessed with an F&M ID card when making purchases at specified locations. At F&M, these funds are called Ben's Bucks. When making a purchase, the ID card is swiped through a terminal (in the same manner that a credit card is used), and the amount of the purchase is deducted from the account balance. The good news--this account cannot be overdrawn. The account holder can spend only the amount that is in the account.
Who can open an account?
Any F&M student or FPS can open an account.
When can an account be opened or additional deposits made to the account?

You may also stop by the Cashier Window in Steinman College Center (in the Diplomat Exchange behind the Welcome Desk) to add money to your Ben's Bucks account. The Cashier Window is open Monday-Friday, 9am to 4pm.
